Fundación para la Investigación de Málaga en Biomedicina y Salud (FIMABIS)
Malaga Foundation for Research in Biomedicine and Health (FIMABIS) is a public sector foundation linked to the Andalusian Public Health System (SAS) which is dedicated to the integral management and promotion of R&D&I activities carried out by SAS in the province of Malaga, as well as transferring its results to society as an advance in the research diagnosis and treatment of the most prevalent health problems at the regional, national and international levels.
The scope of FIMABIS’ activity involves the R&D&I of 6 public hospitals and all primary care districts of the province, in addition to the management of 1 accredited Research Institute, the Biomedical Research Institute of Malaga and Platform in Nanomedicine (IBIMA Plataforma BIONAND).
PROJECT ROLE
FIMABIS will handle the financial and administrative aspects of SAS involvement in ProCure, including all issues related to hiring personnel for the development of the project and acquiring goods or services that can be given to the project, FIMABIS will carry out, in the purchasing platform of Málaga, the collection of technical information for the project and its analysis, support in deliverables redaction, project costs economic control, among others.
