FOUNDATION FOR THE MANAGEMENT OF HEALTH RESEARCH IN SEVILLE (FISEVI)


The Foundation for Health Research Management in Seville (FISEVI) is a non-profit organisation linked to the Andalusian Regional Ministry of Health and Families. Its aims are the promotion and implementation of high-quality biomedical research as well as the promotion and development of innovations in health technologies through the optimization of management activities and promotion of research in the centers and organizations of the Public Health System of Andalusia (SSPA).

FISEVI renders it services to 1 accredited research institute (Institute of Biomedicine of Seville - IBiS, 6 hospitals and 5 primary care centers, with more than 22,000 medical professionals specialized in different disciplines related to health work. In addition, it has more than 4,000 researchers who maintain around 500 active R&D&I lines, many of them in collaboration with industry.

FISEVI’s activity is directed to assisting organisms and entities of the Andalusian Public Health System in the province of Seville and to the health professionals who carry out patient care and/or research within these centers.

FISEVI provides project management support for national and international projects in a comprehensive manner, as it covers all aspects necessary for their correct implementation: legal, human resources, financial, managerial, scientific, IPR issues and research methodology (AENOR certification UNE 166002:2014 R&D&I Management).

PROJECT ROLE

As affiliated entity to SAS, FISEVI will bring support to SAS Team involved in the project and will handle the financial and administrative aspects of the SAS involvement in the project, including all issues relating to the employment and payment of additional personnel, purchase of equipment and consumables, etc
